Welcome to the 2027-2028 hockey season!

There will be 4 tryout teams and each team will have 2 skates. Ice times are as follows:

October 1 from 9:15pm-10:15pm in Aberdeen
October 3 from 6:45pm-7:45pm at Agriplace
October 4 from 6:45pm-7:45pm at ACT
October 4 from 8:00pm-9:00pm at ACT

Groupings will be posted once the U18A Draft is completed. 
Evaluations this year will be performed by Serious Academy of Hockey.

Please note: It is pertinent that players and goalies attend their sessions to ensure proper evaluation of each player and goalie. U18 division covers 2009, 2010 and 2011 born players, therefore it is important to note that rankings may be different than in previous years.

Depending on the players returning to the Zone from AA and City-Wide A, we anticipate we will have enough players for 4 teams.

As a reminder, U18 B and C are non-contact. As in the past, the Wild zone may possibly need to send goalies/players to other zones or received players from other zones to create combined zone teams.

Groups will be posted once the AA and City-wide A drafts are completed and players are released back to the Wild Zone. At the U 18 level, all tryouts are based on game play and no skills evaluations will occur. The players will receive their jersey at the first tryout skate and keep it until the end of the tryout skate. Players will be placed on balanced teams (balancing positions and birth years) for tryouts. It is important to be at all try-out scrimmages. 

Please note that, once the tryout groups are posted, there will be no changes to the groupings.

Potential Coaches: You must register before try-outs begin to be considered as a coach. We need coaches at both levels. Please fill out the application on the Wild Hockey website.
